It may be caused by virus , drinking too much alcohol, certain medicines or some medical conditions .Most common types of hepatitis are hepatitis A, B ,C and alcoholic hepatitis. Hepatitis A is an acute infection and people generally improve without treatment whereas hepatitis B and C cause chronic liver disease.
Symptoms :
1. low grade fever
2. fatigue
3. pain in the abdominal area dark urine
4. pale stools and
5. jaundice.

HEPATITIS IN RELATION WITH DENTAL TREATMENT
liver diseases like hepatitis affect the bodies capacity to form blood clot which is required in various dental procedures like extractions periodontal surgeries etc. The disease also affect the liver capacity to metabolize certain drugs. Patient should always consult their physician before taking any medicine or treatment.
The US National Institute of Health National Library of medicine reported that the link between periodontal disease and hepatitis C is inflammation .The bacteria that cause gum diseases also increase the inflammation throughout the body including liver .
